About National Poetry Month

In 1999, the League of Canadian Poets established April as National Poetry Month.  This became a time to recognize and celebrate the importance of poetry to Canadian life and culture.  Check out some of the activities that we have planned here at Highland, as well as links to resources to support your poetic aspirations.
